I am Stella,
I am the face behind the lens and the human behind Dilly Dally Death.
I believe that all of life’s best and most meaningful moments require us to dilly dally.
I support families to witness, document and celebrate birth and death, capturing all beginnings, middles and end of life moments, moving slowly with purpose. I know these moments require presence over perfection.
I am an accredited end of life doula and support worker. I am a loss parent with lived experience in both birth and death spaces. I believe every story deserves to be documented with dignity, authenticity, and love. I am constantly expanding my knowledge and skills to better equip me as a human and doula.
I specialise in compassionate photography for families experiencing all forms and journeys of life, and death.
For me this honour includes working with families and parents documenting births, newborns, TMFR goodbyes, miscarriages & pregnancy loss, stillbirth, infant & child loss, SIDS.
I am also available for end-of-life preparations, death-bed confessionals, vigils, tattoo or body art cataloguing and memorial sessions.
Alongside photography, I offer legacy services and end-of-life doula support, creating meaningful keepsakes and providing calm, practical guidance during life's most emotional transitions.
My approach is trauma informed, gentle, inclusive, and centred on each family's unique wishes, ensuring every experience is handled with bolstering professionalism, empathy, and respect. With emphasis on informed and ongoing consent for all aspects of my service to you.
I truly hope we never have to meet urgently, but if life brings us together, it will be my privilege and honour to walk alongside you for this part of your journey.
