Acknowledgement of country

We recognise the current and past atrocities against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples of this land and that Tasmania and Australia were founded on the genocide and dispossession of First Nations people.

We acknowledge that colonial structures and policies remain in place today and recognise the ongoing struggles of First Nations people in dismantling these structures. The struggle to seek justice, to remember and address this nation’s past is ongoing and is a necessary requirement for individual and collective healing process.

Commitment to community

Dilly Dally Death was created by Stella to support families, women, people who birth, and those who have time to plan their own exits. The mission is to ensure our loved ones are remembered authentically and preserved in all their glorious and beautiful details.

After navigating pregnancy loss, ectopic pregnancy and TFMR personally, it was clear there was a deep inadequacy in the community support and options presented to me. It took a long time for me to heal, but I became driven to provide the kind of compassionate, gentle, validating support I so desperately needed through my experiences. As a trained End of Life Doula I aim to ensure every life, no matter how brief, ordinary, or extraordinary is witnessed, documented and remembered with honesty, compassion and through a lens of love.

Through community education, sharing, photography, legacy projects and end-of-life support. I aim to help courageous individuals and families preserve the tiny details & moments that matter most, hopefully capturing memories that bring solace for generations.
